This guide will give a high level outline on how one can take the dump mode captured background, foreground, and packed background/alpha channel quadrant recording to produce a high quality composite.  The overall process and details are different depending on your preferred video editing software, but the overall concepts is the same.

  1. You've recorded content with Passthrough and now have a '4 quadrant recording'.  To record Passthrough content, follow this guide.
  2. In your video editing software, you can follow the basic video composition by following Touge's Masterclass video using Adobe Premier and After Effects.
  3. The additional steps for dealing with the packed background/foreground alpha channel is using Shift Channels in After Effects to interpret Blue as the Background Alpha channel and the Red as the Foreground Alpha channel.
