We've been deep-diving our avatar IK over the last week and have discovered a very old bug in our avatar system.
You'll want to reset all avatar calibrations and redo any manual tweaks you have made!
Let us know how the changes work for you - all avatar motion should be improved with this update.
Fixed:
- The root of the avatar container was not correctly following the headset, resulting in weird animation issues when moving far from the VR origin, switching avatars, and adjusting calibration values. We built ourselves some in-depth debugging tools and tracked this pesky ghost from the past down!
Don't forget to opt-in to the public beta
Close LIV, then go to Steam > LIV > Properties > Betas, and select it there
