How do I optimally capture LIV?

The most commonly used software for video recording and streaming is
Open Broadcaster Software (OBS). It's the most lightweight capturing tool out there, and it's also really easy to set up! We strongly recommend it.

They have a very well written wiki on how to quickly get started:

Capturing LIV with OBS couldn't be easier. Simply add a new "Game Capture" source to your scene and target the LIV output. Resize the window to fit your frame and voilà, you're good to go!

Note that LIV does not process audio.

Because of that, if you're looking to stream LIV directly through an application like Discord (which captures the audio that's directly tied to whatever it is you're streaming), you'll need to solve for capturing the audio separately.
The LIV output does not contain any audio!

We have a solution though. Here is a short guide on how you can stream LIV with audio on Discord, also using OBS.
